We encourage you to check out the new website on The Memorial to Enslaved Laborers at the University of Virginia. The Memorial is one part of the University’s efforts to recognize and acknowledge its history.
And if you have not, do plan to visit The Memorial to Enslaved Laborers, located at 1620 University Avenue, at the edge of the UVA's Grounds in the sloping landscape of the “Triangle of Grass” close to the intersection of University Avenue and Elliewood Avenue.
