Pop Up Tour - Historic "Headquarters" in White Hall
Preservation Piedmont members are invited to see historic "Headquarters," located in White Hall and currently listed for sale. Originally dating to the late 1700s, the house burned and was rebuilt in 1818 to its current telescopic form. Tour capacity is limited to 20 people.

Preservation Piedmont members are invited to see historic "Headquarters," located in White Hall / Brown's Cove and currently listed for sale.
According to Ed Lay's Architecture of Jefferson Country, the older frame portion of Headquarters dates to 1785. The house was extended west towards the mountains in 1812 and, following a fire, was rebuilt in 1818 with nails and hinges from Jefferson's foundary in the new work.
